Diana Watson“Philanthropists and funders are increasingly under pressure to ensure that grants awarded to arts organisations deliver tangible benefits. However, the grant making sector is missing clear and cohesive direction on how this may be best achieved.

I believe that TCAF, through its R&D activities, can bridge this knowledge gap whilst practically demonstrating the transformative power of art; as a consequence trustees, funders and grant-making organisations will be able to make informed decisions on the application of their funds.”

Diana has worked in a philanthropic and CSR capacity for a number of organisations including Bloomberg, the FIA Institute and currently the Merchant Taylors’ Company, where she manages a range of grant making charities across sectors including education, health and welfare.

Her academic background was in English Literature, completing a Masters in Modernism at Queen Mary, University of London. Diana’s artistic interests particularly lie in the theatre and the performing arts.
