Gisèle Bertin acted as Events Co-curator on 2013 Lagamas residency.

Gisèle established her first contact with Contemporary Art in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she was born and began to organise cultural projects.

She has continued her studies in Visual Art and gradually specialised in Contemporary Art and Aesthetics at the University Paul Valéry – Montpellier III. Since 2011 she has worked with notable galleries including Leo Koenig (New York), Vermelho (São Paulo), A Gentil Carioca (Rio de Janeiro), Anthony Meyer (Paris) and Hanmi Gallery (London), as well as institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art of Saint-Etienne and the Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice.

Gisèle intends to pursue a career in management handling contemporary art projects. She  is open to all forms of artistic expression – especially in visual arts, dance, theatre and music.
