Support our work

In order to develop and realise the full ambition of our innovative programme, we rely on the generosity of the supporters and partners who make a vital contribution to our work.

Please see below the testimony of French political advisor and TCAF benefactor Karim Bouhassoun.

Financial contributions

If you want to support us by making a financial contribution, you can do so via MyDonate – Gift Aid. This is ideal if you are a UK tax payer.

Alternatively, you can use Paypal. However, please note that Paypal takes a commission on donations, unlike our Gift Aid portal.

If you prefer to support a specific part of our work (on residencies, sustainability, wellbeing, education and innovation) contact us when you make your contribution and we will ring-fence 75% of the amount towards the costs of projects in your preferred topic.

If you are a UK tax resident

As a registered charity, all donations from UK businesses qualify for corporation tax relief.

Donations from individuals who are UK tax-payers qualify for Gift Aid, which allows TCAF to claim an extra 25p on every pound donated. If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate, you can claim from HMRC the additional tax relief due to you.

If you are a EU tax resident

There is a tax-effective cross-border cash donations framework across the EU. Nineteen EU countries are already enabling donors (both corporations and individuals) resident in one of the participating countries to financially support non-profit organisations in other Member States, while benefiting directly from the tax advantages provided in the legislation of their country of residence.

Through the Transnational Giving Europe Network, TCAF is homologated to receive funds in France (Fondation de France), Belgium (Fondation Roi Baudouin) and Luxembourg (Fondation de Luxembourg). If you are a tax payer from one of these countries or from one of the other EU participating countries in TGE (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland), please contact us to discuss how to make your financial support happen in the most tax efficient way.

If you use Amazon services, have a Facebook account or plan to run a marathon…

The Cornelius Arts Foundation is registered as a beneficiary charity with

  • Amazon Smile: Amazon donates 0.5% of your purchases. Same products, same prices, same service. You just have to go through their Smile portal and select The Cornelius Arts Foundation.
  • Facebook: TCAF page has a donate button. Alternatively one can create their own fundraising campaign e.g. associated to one’s birthday. FB does not process Gift Aid.
  • MyDonate: beyond a single or monthly donation, one can create their own fundraising campaign [until 30 June 2019]. Go here. MyDonate processes Gift Aid free of charge.

TCAF also works with diverse companies and individuals who help deliver our programmes and events through sponsorship or in-kind support. We work with each benefactor to create a bespoke relationship, including accreditation and inclusion in special events. As a registered charity, donations from UK and EU tax residents qualify for tax relief.
